Shipping methods for goods:

All items purchased from Fine Wooden Creations shop can be shipped to delivery address using different means like:

  • AIR SHIPMENT
    • We usually choose air shipping with world-class recognized carriers with tracking of a delivery process like Fedex,TNT or UPS with option door-2-door service. This kind of shipping is the fastest way of delivery – and most expensive. It is the best option for shipping goods between Europe and overseas locations like USA, Canada, Australia or Asia. Takes 7-15 days to arrive to your door steps.
      The shipping cost varies and depends on your location and size/weight of the package.
  • SEA SHIPMENT
    • For more cost affordable shipping there is option to send items with sea freight. This is significantly longer shipping time and takes about 30-60 days. This type of shipping provides many collection points where you can get your box by yourself too or wait for the delivery to your door.
      Shipping cost is usually lower and depends on destination country/ custom clear, importing duties and handling fees which is charged by destination seaport. Sea shipping becomes more affordable with a higher amount of tables or wood slabs you buy.
  • ROAD TRANSPORTATION
    • Ground services are available for all shipments where items can be delivered via road services eg European countries. Shipping with Fedex,TNT or UPS carriers.

Shipping quotation:

All shipping costs will be calculated per order. The shipping cost can be calculated based on your location and size/weight of the package.

For shipping quotation please provide at least item details, country, postcode and city.
You can provide those data using our TABLE CONFIGURATOR or using contact form.

Long Boards:  Some very long boards must be cut to ship via regular ground service.  The maximum length/width of the board that we can ship depends on shipping destination/ package dimensions and courier we can use. You can contact us prior to the purchase of such long wood slabs prior to purchase or we will contact you regarding shipping conditions in such case.

Shipping Carriers/Rates

We use different carriers for different destinations and sizes of packages. Usually, we ship with TNT / Fedex / UPS shipping carriers. For sea shipping, we use specialized shipping companies. All shipping rates are calculated based on weight, dimensions, and the buyer’s location. Your unique shipping costs will be calculated per each shipped box separately.

Shipping & Processing Times

We strive to process all orders within 2-3 business days for ready-to-ship items but certain orders may require more time. Please allow 48 hours for processing time on any order unless special arrangements are made. We will make every effort to process these orders as quickly as possible.

Shipping times will vary depending on location and means of transportation like sea transportation, ground or air transportation. If you need a delivery at a specific timeline, please contact us and we can arrange it.

Delivering to port

Usually, the shipping is made by door-2-door. But you can also pick the box directly from the port terminal and save some cost on port-to-door delivery which can be more expensive. If you would like to pick up the box from port please let us know prior to finalizing the shipping agreement so we can let the carrier about this option.
Please note that not all carriers offer such a possibility.

Tracking

We will send you an email with tracking information where you will be able to track it along the way. Tracking information will be provided as soon as your item ships.

What happens if I provide an incorrect address?

If you provide an incorrect mailing address we’ll do our best to help you track down your package, but we cannot assume liability if the package is lost or if fees are incurred due to re-routing or stocking. If the package is returned to us, we’ll be happy to ship it back out to you but will ask you to cover this cost.

Transit, Delivery, and Liability For shipping

Your order will be carefully packed in protective foam, polystyrene, cartons and bubble wrap. In almost all cases, it will be shipped on a pallet with a wooden box.

After carrier will pick it up it will start its journey to your door! For international air shipping, it typically takes about 7-15 business days. Sea shipping can take up from 30 to 60 days. For a long-distance shipping transit, times are never guaranteed. There is many factors that can influence the time of delivery. Weather or other situations can affect times as well. As soon freight arrives to your vicinity, it will be managed and delivered by the local carrier division.

If your freight is lost in transit or damaged, we will file a claim with the shipping carrier on your behalf and refund you as soon as we possibly can. Freight claims can take 6-8 weeks for processing.

When your freight arrives, most drivers deliver items to the ground level. It is your duty to verify that the cargo is not damaged in transit, as this will be the only time to check it. If anything is damaged in transit, the carrier company will not honor a claim unless you write on the delivery slip that the order was damaged. You also are kindly asked to take photos of the damage. Please remember all claims need to be written on the delivery slip in all cases.

Customs and import taxes

Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply.
We are not responsible for delays due to customs. We will do our best to provide you with all the necessary documents you would need to process customs procedures. Especially you need to provide filled documents as soon as possible to customs to avoid storage cost after box with items lands in your country.
